Hi,My name is Cheryl Ellis I am the CEO of a non-profit organization called Styl-N & Profil-N. We provide students grades K-12 with FREE haircuts and hairstyles for the first day of school. Our event takes place in 2 states KS and MO. We service over 800 students in one day per event, so that they may look good for the first day of school. The 2007-08 school year will be the 3rd year we have host the event for students with this year having students to bring non-perishable food item to this years event. I've relocated to Kansas City Mo from Denver Colorado after beimg there for 17 years, I saw a need for assistance with the youth and decided to recruit Barbers/Stylist to assist them for the first day of school. 2005 school year we help the Katrina/Rita survivors. 2006-07 we branch out to the state of Kansas and students in shelters, homeless, adopted, dropouts, juvenile delinquents, etc. I'm a Girl Scout leader to 2 troops, A fitness instructor for the PAL Organization and a Facilitator for the United Way of Wyandotte County KS.
