Proudly defending your right to talk shit about the military. Currently serving with the 101st Airborn Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom IV. I will be departing this great land in a few days for my R&R leave and will then return to this wonderful country to finish out the deployment and help bring it home for the 101st until their next "Rendezvous with Destiny". Lord knows I won't be here for it, I'm out 6 months upon our return. Once I depart this great organization known as the Army I shall persue my education studying some subject at some college somewhere. Where I will be is currently up in the air, it all depends on how things go once I get back to FT Campbell. Yes, I'm scared shitless of getting out but it's something I need to do. I did what I had to do and I don't regret it at all, even if I sometimes say I do. The bottom line is I've met lots of people who I'll never forget and hope I never lose touch with. I can't say it's afforded me the ability to see the world since I'm stationed in the exact same state I was born and raised in and they've only sent me to Iraq, TWICE. Well I suppose that's it, please excuse any word I spelled incorrectly. Spelling isn't exactly my strong point anymore.
ALAN: He's the one I'm always arguing with one minute and laughing and joking with the next. An outsider looking in would swear we're married. He's like a brother to me and he's always there when I need him.
LUCAS: My beer supplier, lol. My wonderful Puerto Rican friend. Many drunken nights in his room, and lots of crazy times in the barracks.
STEVE-O: I can always count on this guy to have my back and keep me out of trouble when I don't have the since to do it myself. Love this boy like the brother I always wanted. Oh and yes we made a pact to marry each other if we're still single and miserable at 40.
Chris: The biggest mooch I know but he almost never turned me away if I needed something. Not to mention he was real good at running unwanted visitors out of my room. Best across the hall neighbor a gal could ask for.
Mark: First friend I made in this hell whole of a BN and that was a little more than 3yrs ago. He's always got my back and I've always got his. Payday rolls around he buys me dinner and the next night I buy him. If he's out of cigs I make sure he gets some and vice versa. If we're both broke, well then we're shit out of luck until next payday. Definately my favorite brother. He'll be in Italy soon and I'll miss him that's for sure.
Jeremy: If you listen to everyone of my friends he and I will be married 6 months after the deployment. I wouldn't go that far. Though I do like the guy a lot, we just sorta admitted that to each other out here so right now we'll just have to see what happens. But I will say this he's the kinda guy I can't help but like no matter how many sarcastic, smart ass things come out of his mouth.
I just added that because well those guys are 6 reasons why I don't regret joining the Army. Sure there are others but they'd have to be the main ones. Anything else you'd like to know send me a line.
