Influences: BIOMike Kapumbwa Richie was born in the Romanian capital town of Bucharest on 26 fev 1983. His parents were living in Romania at the time completing their university studies. The family moved back to Congo while Mike was still very young, however, and he spent allmost his entire childhood there, getting in touch with his roots. Mike developed a passion for music at an early age , listening to the giants of black American African and Jamaincan music such as Prince, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley ,Ziggy ,Alfa Blondy, Michael jackson . Meanwhile, he also rifled through his parents' record collection, discovering classics,such as Curtis Mayfield , James Brown , Ray Charles ,Bobby Womack .By his late teens Mike had proved to be a budding singer and musician. the talented 19-year-old ended up going into a studio in bucharest to record his first compositions : "i still..." rollin long side wit Urban Records for 3 years ghosting in a bassement producing rap beats for anonimus rap singers ,around the same period he began studying for a degree in Industrial and graphics design . n the early 2006 after hes licencemant he decide to break free from urban record and joint his cousin and muzic broather and forme along him and DJ Christu the Chill Broather Crew (C.B.C)IN paralell,his multi talented sides had to make a point in hiz carreer , by creating the group DREAM CITY along wit another Dj, electronic and dance music producer tom boxer Neo-soul singer and executive producer Mike Diamondz combined the raw fervor of contemporaries jamaican armonies and the burning precision of the indian grooves to created a special smoth flava music .He also became an in-demand session musician, playing and occasionally writing for a wide array of artists, including ,Cristina Spatar ,DJ Sava, Zale , Moga and menny moreMike scored his first hit in Romania in 2006 with the single "deep in love." witch had the longest stay in the romanian billboard 32 weeks wit the group Dream City ,meanwhile in the C.B.Crew hip hop and raggae fans discovered mike s featurings on the album Zale-Respect (rap division in the CBC) in there 2 singles released '- Girl - RUPEM BARAKA- where he shouwz just glim of his raggae side to the public...for the automn 2007 ...
