Well I can say that there are more important things in life than how you express your gender, My youngest daughter Moriah has cancer.

Television:

Ahhh Television, I grew up in a generation lost in the boob tube! I try to limit myself these days.

I like Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, The Closer, TLCs What Not To Wear, Project Runway, and Dancing With the Stars. I catch a smattering of CSI and an occasional Law & Order.

Books:

Hmmm...We have about 3000 books in the house; I won't name them all. Of course some of them are childrens books and others are textbooks left over from college.

I like Issac Asimov, David Baldacci, Harry Turtledove, Jules Verne, Tom Clancy, Micheal Crihton, Steve Martini and others.

Although I like Medical thrillers Robin Cook's just didn't do it for me. His first book 'Sphynx', a non medical book I loved.

I enjoy courtroom dramas, but I just have not liked John Grisham's as much as other authors.

Near the top of my recent reading is Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series, has been a late night page turner. I have also gone for Kay Scarpetta in Patricia Cornwell's books.

Tess Gerritsen is one of the best authors I've read, if you only find one new author off of my list, take her.

In Allison Pearson's book 'I Don't Know How She Does It." I empathized greatly with the main character Kate.

I also enjoyed the autobiography of Linda Greenlaw, "The Hungry Ocean", the story of a sucessful fishing boat Captain.

In recent years I seem to have found an attraction for strong female characters.

So what have you read that's any good?
