About Me

Nestor R. Caballero - (Sep. 06 - 1980):
Nestor Caballero has borned the september 6 of 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the zodiac sign of Virgo. To the age of 8 years old he started his musician development with a very expensive keyboard that his mother gifted him. At the age of 10 years old He started to compose his own songs and at his 12 he singed ocationally for his school.
At the age of 16 he had tryed to join a semi-popular Punk Rock band called "Ira Band" but its producer saids that He cannot sing Rock because his melodic voice.
Years after he moved to Indiana, USA, where his singer career was trunked; Then he decided to change his life completely and move down to Miami, Florida, where he meets Juan Carlos Vazquez, ex-keyboard player of "Final Symphony" and "Blood Pact" and also Max Ludwing ex-guitar player of "Anthrax".
Juan Carlos Vazquez proposed him to join his forming Hard-Rock/Heavy Metal band, covering songs of Rata Blanca and Adrian Barilari as solo. This Band, called "Heroes", count on great musicians as well as Leonardo Morel (Actual Lead Guitar of Ogmios); Fabio Palente on drums, Baez on base guitar and JC Vazquez himself on keyboards.
The band has great acceptation from the Miami's hispanic population, but the problems beguns to appear on the band and everyone got different roads to walk out.
Nestor Caballero was close to move back to Buenos Aires when he received a phone call from Leonardo Morel, friend and old music partner from "Heroes", who invited him to join his band, by then called "Shadow".
Then he decides to give it a last try before returning home to try back there.
After the audition, all the members in the band wanted him badly to join, by then conformed with Leonardo Morel (Lead Guitar), Hernan Oriolo (Drums); Hector Lencina (Rythmic Guitar); and Lucas Rodriguez (Base Guitar).
Nestor accepted the quest and build an strong aliance with his friend and partner Leonardo Morel, giving to the band the last touch of style it needed.
The time passed and other faces and names would have the opportunity to perform with Nestor and "Shadow" (Still named like that by that time) such as Gustavo Rodriguez (Drumer) and Eddie Gnieciak (Drumer) between others.
One day, all the Shadow members decided to make a switch on their career as mucisians and change the name of the band for "Ogmios". This change wont be the only one. They had also decided to translate all the original songs to English and point hard to the english speaker community.
The translating duty was called up to Nestor who has lived on USA about 8 years and speak a very clear and fluent english; So other was the way things had turned on then.
Matias Talavera on drums joined the band replacing a desappeared Gnieciak and because there is not doubt that there exist an Evil, the legendary member Hector Lencina has to quite the band for personal problems and go back to his original country to resolve his life down there; But also because there might be a God too, Javier Sanchez join Ogmios replacing Hector on the Rythmic Guitar.
Nestor Caballero has also recorded his very distingued voice on a colaboration to his friend, Mariano J. Brascich (Ex-"Final Symphony" and "Blood Pact" Concidered one of the best guitar players in Florida) on his second album as solo called "Mariano Brascich - Warrior" among very recogniced world wide mucisians like Patrick Johansson (Yngwie Malmsteen drumer but this time on Keyboards) and Wilson Lee (actual Wolfpack drumer).
Nestor also recorded Ogmios's first album called "Ogmios - Between gnomes and Fairies".
By these days, Nestor is singing for the Iron Maiden's tribute band of Miami, Florida, called "Maiden Miami" and also its about to begin the studio time with his new band called SkyDragon on their album debut "SkyDragon" and their Demo for their second LP called "Angel Fall".
