72 Hours to Defend Democracy

About Me

ReadtheBill.org invites Americans of all political views: Help stop Congress from passing bills in the dead of night that nobody has read. America cannot afford this out-of-control spending and legislating. By Election Day, we will persuade Congress to adopt the 72 Online rule -- to require posting bills online for 72 hours before floor debate in Congress.

Please fill out this form to let your congressional representative know that you feel this is important and want them to support resolution H.Res. 688 authored by Rep. Brian Baird (D-WA). It will only take a minute of your time ... and that is all it would take for Congress to publish bills online as well.

If you would like more information, please check the website at www.readthebill.org .
