This is Word Life. Linked up in 99' started out with 3 members, Jarizza, G-Hollidae, and Rated R. Jarizza and G-Hollidae both hail from the U.S.V.I. (U.S. Virgin Islands) And Rater R is from the city of Delco, North Carolina. Formally known as the Round the Way Boyz, the group began adding strength and connections. We got our first production guy in 2005 in the form of Chubb who already is an established comedian with his own private business called Chubb Entertainment. Word Life continues to grow and get better.There first album came out summer of 2005. Entitled Introducing Word Life Records. The album hosted by Chubb Entertainment was instant hit and has made it's way from NY all the way to V.I. and soon we hope to doing some collabo work with some major players on the West Coast. Because Word Life isn't just a name it's a movement.This is the platform for Jarizza (The Official) aka 9 eleven, hands down one of the best song writers on the east coast, who does a little bit of everything from novels, poetry, movies, and por supuesto la musica. Through Pearl Sound a strong up and coming independent label out of Spartanburg, SC; Jarizza is poised to be the next big thing coming out of NC. Lucky for us he stays humble. "I really ain't used to people being like J you hott man, or that song is dope man, it's in my heavy rotation. You know having cats from prison say they heard our song "In the South" on the radio and that the Prison went buckwild, man that's unreal, like a blessing feel me. I do this for my people struggling in the streets cause I'm from humble upbringings myself. I think this summer of '06 I finally got where I wanted to be with my control of what happens during my songs. I'm working on my little sister's album (she sings, only 15) and I'm part of Natural Blend with my homie Classic Stylez. Just blessing from above man, I almost died a year and a half ago and now I'm here with a lot to teach these youth man, I'm doing this for the V.I."
