"It's small but its heart is in the right place. Co Meath's Le Cheile festival (based in Oldcastle) has been doggedly going about its business for several years. Primarily an arts and music festival, it might not have the budget of city-based events (and it certainly doesn't seem to have the sponsorship). but it manages nonetheless to come up with the goods...
The venues are intimate but the atmosphere is excellent..."

This is the 11th year of the festival - 1998 was the first year.
