I love scotch! Scotchy, scotch, scotch!

About Me

I am honest, hardworking, and sincere. I dislike liars and won't suffer fools. I believe the only regrets you'll have in life are for the risks you never took. If I requested you as a friend that means I liked something (or a lot of things) about you in your profile or I already know you. I'm not really into building a long list of My Space friends to show how popular I am. I learned a difficult lesson about adding random people, so I understand if you don't accept my request.

My Interests

Taekwondo, cycling, computers, news, art, macrobiotics, theology, zen, yoga, movies, fine dining.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who would like to meet me.

Television:

This is too funny!!!

Books:

Shogun, Tai Pai, The DaVinci Code, Lies and the lying liars who tell them.

Heroes:

My father, a man of many firsts. Dalai Lama, MLKJr., Bobby Sands (ten points if you know who that is). SAMANTHA!

My Blog

A World for Peace (From his Holiness the Dalai Lama)

I obviously didn't write this but it certainly captures the essence of what I have pondered for a long time. Hopefully His Holiness commands the attention of people who wish to leave this world in bet...

Our Fascination with the Culture of Death

So Saddam Hussein is dead. Rejoice if you must, but please pardon me if I don't. He was a brutal dictator and an evil man, but killing him does not bring back his victims, make us whole, or make us be...

Can We Draft Congress?

As the country prepares to welcome a new Democrat-controlled Congress, a call to reinstate the draft is back in the media. Of course party leaders on both sides are saying no because they want to keep...

So long Ed

How many male national correspondents can get away with wearing an earring on the air? With Ed Bradley's passing, I say none. He was cool, sincere, genuine, and a true humanitarian. I met Ed while ser...
