Do da dum.

About Me

Gosh... where to start... I'm a late-teenager living in Tacoma, Washington. I do web-design for fun (check out my web site: unmatchedbracket.com), and I'm a guitarist currently looking to join a band. I'm into just about all kinds of music, everything from dance to disco and (some) metal to old rock music. I'll chat for hours about Linux, web design and programming, and really just about anything else. I spent my last two and a half years of high school in a community college taking a variety of different classes (English, anthropology, human nutrition, political science, geology, geography, the list goes on and on...), and I'd love to talk about any of them.

My Interests

Just about anything having to do with computers, music, veganism, I acquire new interests all the time.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that's interesting and polite.

Music:

I'm into Opeth right now (learning their music on guitar), I've seen Type O Negative in concert twice, I've been to a few "electronic music concerts", and I've met BT. The only kinds of music I don't like are country music (I grew up in West Virginia...) and any offensive or overly explicit music. I like just about everything else.

Movies:

Hackers was awesome. I'm a Tarentino fan, too. SLC Punk was good, Pirates of the Caribbean ranks up with my favorites. Though it may be cliche, the Lord of the Rings and Matrix series are also among my favorites. The cutest movies I've seen (and liked) were Chocolat, At First Sight, and Moulin Rouge. I don't usually do action movies because they lack plot and aren't too terribly thought-provoking. Ken Branaugh is my favorite director, I thoroughly enjoyed his four-hour take on Hamlet (He played a perfect Iago.).

Television:

I haven't watched television in years. I don't like being told who I'm supposed to be like, what I'm supposed to spend my time doing, or what I should dedicate my paychecks to.

Books:

I'm big into Shakespeare, and I've read all of Nick Hornby's books. Once again, anything with a good plot that can make me laugh and think at the same time.

My Blog

Umm, no...?

People have been asking me lately why I'm mad at them. "... huh? ..." is my reply. If I crack a joke or pick on someone, they take it totally to heart. Maybe they're just not used to it. Like I wa...
