...music..i LOVE music :) I think hip-hop is my first love, but it's all good. Try and listen to new stuff all the time. The love for good music is really like an addiction, i can never have enough. Classic rock, funk, dub reggie, jazz, blues, folk, classical, electronic, dance. If you look hard, you can just about always find something good (if not spectacular). but, i don't dig everything. On the regular I play madlib, mf doom, fat jon the ample soul physician, quasimoto, ynq, illogic, blueprint, led zeppelin, xela, the pillows, queen, the l.a. carnival, hendrix, beatles, sublime, yeshua, daedalus, sound providers, asheru & blueblack, tribe called quest, modest mouse, dj cam, chungking, common, atmosphere, the left handed controller, dj cip one, lootpack, blackalicious, rjd2, the roots, dj cheb i sabba, guru, beck, beastie boys, gorillaz, mos def, nujabes, the hive, herbaliser,bob marley, king tubby, lee perry, gregory isaacs, i could still go for a minute, so i'll just stop there :)
horror, foreign films, animated, out of the ordinary flicks. i'm big on japanese cinema and gory movies, the ones that make you squirm. i'm not a romantic/comedy kinda girl.
i don't really dig on most tv, but, cartoons are really slick, oh, and weeds. all kinds of animation are good with me, guess it never grew out of me. tv isn't something to have your main focus on. it's generaly an idiot box.
The Art of Shen Ku: The Ultimate Traveler's Guide : The First Intergalactic Artform of the Entire Universe, by zeek. foriegn novels are great. out. crimson labrynth. norwiegian wood. battle royale, tattoo murder case, hard-boiled wonderland and the end of the world... Murakami is good stuffs. cat's cradle is a favorite. harry potter books. i really like manga too. the battle royale manga is the best of the three medias (novel, cinema, manga). just finished fight club, it was more insightful than the movie (go figure), i enjoyed it. i've got a lot on my "to be read" list right now.
My mom, she brian washed some good ideals and morals into me. Gotta luv 'er. she can do anything.
