**WHAT WE DO?** Peace and Blessings, Well -In regards to business (Since it's always business) My primarily function is to find or create and then record, just the right mix of music and production style for new and aspiring artists. The Black Prezident are a New Jersey-based Independent Artist Development Company whose entertainment consulting services are multiple, but primarily to act as a liaison between local community talent and established composers, producers, songwriters, and stage performers of OUR music industry (Since it is our industry - Real Hip-Hop). Our formula for our generation's current dilemma of unoriginality, is to assist in creating a standard - first, in our own community - of good, heart-felt music that all age genres can enjoy and benefit from. And since it is no longer a question any longer whether or not there is an audience for positive urban music, The Black Prezidents seek to fill that niche and deliver that so rare & original product that OUR music community seeks for its necessary replenishment. **WHAT DO U GET OUT OF THIS?** By developing artists who may only not possess sufficient knowledge to critically engage their own music careers, BPC can also pitch rare developed unsigned songwriters & producers to Record Companies and Music Publishers. Our contacts can research opportunities and advise you on a demo recording specially tailored to the stated interests of the music industry executive of interest. **DO WE WORK WITH UR KIND OF MUSIC?** We work with most genres of music. Contemporary Jazz, Hip-Hop, Soul, R&B, and Gospel are only a few of the many different opportunities we have for each genre. **DO WE WORK WITH JUST ANYONE?** No We have a system for selecting only those artists, which meet certain criteria. We seek artists who have made enough of an investment in their own careers but are hindered by their own lack of knowledge. In a word: we only represent people whom we believe have a chance of being successful. Our work is well-known for quality and we put our reputation to the test each and every time we pitch a new artist to our contacts, so if you are not good enough to be represented, we will do our best to get you there. Our roster include some of the most prolific independent recording talents in our region plus a number of studio-based songwriters & composers. Please note that we can only work with those people who use original material: we cannot work with cover versions or singers seeking projects/auditions. **HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST UR FIRM?** It depends on which, and how many of our services you feel that you need in order to properly prepare, produce, and promote your project. If you are just starting out, producing a promotional mixtape or have only a couple of tracks, then our *Gold Package for $2999.00 may be what you need. If you have more than eight original tracks and are looking for a record or publishing deal, then you may want to try our *Platinum Package at $3999.00. If you are a songwriter or have an album's worth of music then you may do better choosing our *Diamond Package for $5999.00. **Finance Plans** are available for those more comfortable with a monthly rate. You can also choose additional artist specific services of your choice. And Finally, you may want professional mastering of your tracks (for an additional cost determined on a case-by-case basis). **SO WHO WOULD BE MY MGR AND HOW WOULD THE INCOME BE SPLIT?** Although are not an agent, per se, we do ask you to sign an agreement for permission to promote your material. We may agree to any share of the income or copyright for songs we write and produce for you and we have ways to promote and publish your work. We do our best to promote you, one-on-one; to whichever Opportunities you are interested in. **HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COMPANIES WHO HELP MUSICIANS & SONGWRITERS?** a) Even though we are selective about whom we represent, we will not reject a person solely on the basis that they cannot pay. b) We have a very good success rate: almost all of our artists receive positive feedback immediately and some kind of offer within a few months of someone hearing their demo. c) We take care of the extra work like ripping custom CDs, graphical printing, press kits, shows etc. d) We also do tracks for signed artists as well as unsigned artists: this increases our credibility within the industry. **WHAT DO WE NEED FROM U TO BEGIN THE PROCESS?** We need to hear your music as an MP3 or audio CD. We review all solicited materials We will even mail it back to you if necessary. **HOW DO U GET STARTED?** You should choose which membership package you want. Within weeks, you could be promoting your project via our network of associates, as well as your own, and benefiting from hundreds of opportunities for your music. Alternatively, if you want to be sure that you will be accepted as a member then you can have your demo reviewed by an Affiliate A&R before applying.
