Having grown up on the east coast, in the greater Boston area, he has continued to freestyle with an east coast feel ...attitude fully included. Not afraid to say what's on his mind, and keen to put some buzz in the air, selectaTRUTH also known as TRUTH 1 or EMEHT 1, can often be found around town showcaseing his rap talents. Quite frequently playing for free at coffee shops, and many times, at underground parties, TRUTH 1 is quick to grab the mic. Ciphering with friends is one of his more favorite past times, trying to "build" on an idea or specific theme... and still, he is not afraid to "battle" other MC's in the ring. As a DJ, selectaTRUTH most often plays REGGAE DANCEHALL with a more positive flair. While in the mix, he flows freely from roots dancehall, to more current dancehall, right into some classic hip hop, and back into dancehall again. Keeping the party live is exactly what it's all about. selectaTRUTH can be found playing out in clubs in the Humboldt county area.
