Hello! I thought it was time for an update!
I've married my best friend. We've been through it all and survived! That's the meaning of a true relationship.. work..communicate... and love!
I just want to be me. I'm tired of being judged, talked about behind my back and used as a form of "entertainment" for others. I've come to see how people are friends when they are with you, and talk alot of crap about their other friends when they are not. Hmmm.. guess that says it all. I'm tired of the "spin" so called friends use to adhere to others. I guess this is something that should have been left in high school but wasn't for some. I've come to accept it's time for a change and now I can breathe a big sigh of relief!
It's time to enjoy this time in my life. No longer "having" to be younger. I am now more comfortable than ever. I much rather hang out at home than go to a club. I'm over all that drama. I do enjoy going salsa dancing with my baby, when we do it's always wonderful. I really now cherish being a mom AND a grandma/nana. Yes, I am getting used to it, but I now know it wasn't the age thing that bothered me, it's that I barely have time for the youngest, and to now have to find time for another beautiful littler girl isn't easy, but I'll do my best. I think it might have taken me to long, but that's okay I never have said I'm perfect!
I love challenges..when I take something new on, I really have to master it for me to be happy...oh yeah.. I'm really competitive and I attribute that to having parents that always told us we could do well because all you have to do is work hard. Some see it as materialistic, however it's funny how those kids grew up "easy" compared to me. My parents were very hard workers and I learned that value from them. My mom came to this country and unlike many out there learned to read and write English. She didn't expect everyone to speak Spanish to her. My dad also had a hard time and i owe everything to them. They are the best! This is why once I start I keep pushing myself. It's not just with work but with most things that I do. I have to be really good at whatever I do. Like that about me.. and if you don't.. that's okay as long as you don't use it as fuel to talk to others. That reminds me of gossip girls.. hehehe... you're no one until you're talked about.. oh wow.. I'm a someone! LMAO!!! I know one good friend who will catch the humor to this! xoxo!
I love ridin and being in the wind.. guess that's why I love going out boating.. being in the wind and in the water.. double bonus.
This is my first and current bike....She is so much fun and so low on maintenance!
I am very girly and love pink, shopping and of course shoes!!!!! I love shopping for those larger ticket items now.. damn its easy to drop money at a cycle shop.. Cycle Gear is going to grow to love me. As girly as I am, I still love football, racing.. racing.. and more racing.. lets see that's Rolex, SCCA, MotoGP, 1/4 mile.. Can't ever forget the line:
"I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time"
