About Me

I would prefer it if someone else wrote about me, but I guess I'll have to wait for my Unofficial Biography to come out for that to happen.Let's see... I'm a ball of creative energy. I have a sick sense of humor, and I can't really tolerate people who go "ew" or "whatever" at it. I am crass but in a refined sort of way. I won't talk about midget orgies with someone's grandparents, unless they look like they kind of grandparents who would be into midgets. Or orgies. Or both. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow, you know?I love music, love playing it. It's my cocaine. Film is more like my heroin... once i got addicted, it was hard to say no and stop. It's a perennial love affair.I miss the days when I was 15 and holding hands and kissing were big deals. There was something to cherish about those little moments. That doesn't mean I am planning on retiring to a Tibetan monastery- it just means I am re-evaluating what it is that I want.I cook great food, mostly Italian. I'm Italian. Not one of those spikey-haired dudes from New Jersey who claim to be Sicilian but don't speak a word of it, either. I'm 100% Italian, from the old country, and I miss it sometimes. I like opera, even though I don't know it as much as I should. I love Rock 'n' Roll. My favourite 50s rocker is Buddy Holly- a genius. I have recently been getting into Elvis Costello and a great band called "Brazilian Girls"...Every now and again I ask myself overwhelming questions such as:"what will happen to the things that we deem important (such as films or music) if an asteroid hits us? or if the sun runs out of power?".I get frustrated at people who reply with:"Jesus dude, it's going to take YEARS for the sun to run out of power".That implies that yes, it will run out of power at some point, and we are going to be like little ants in the rain. That is, unless someone loads a huge satellite with what we think is truly important to us as human beings (paintings, books, miniature replicas of buildings) and sends it off into outer space. That way an alien race will find it, somewhere, sometime, and realize that after all... we were somewhat interesting people.
