Harrisburg rapper Young Cream, who performed during the showcases, viewed the conference as "a business retreat. We want to try to be more professional and expand our business. We don't get a lot of opportunities like this."
Ellis of Harrisburg's Gutta Ville Entertainment, whose stable of artists includes Young Cream, said having so many resources in one place is invaluable.
"We're known in Harrisburg, but we want to get wider recognition," he said. "We want to meet new people. It's free promotion in a way. When you don't have something like this, you get stuck, stagnated. It motivates you to do more."BE SURE TO CHECK NEW YOUNG CREAM MIXTAPE ****ITS MY TURN VOL 2*****AND DA UPCOMING ALBUM
