Mainly foreign/indie cinema, though I can go for an epic Hollywood flick once in awhile (and a quirky Adam Sandler comedy too). Luc Besson is the best (anyone see Banlieue 13? The Professional? La Femme Nikita?). Loved Napoleon Dynamite, Trainspotting, Tsotsi...dang so many others too! Really can't wait for HIFF Fall 2006...always some great films there that I would never otherwise hear about. Oh, and keep your eye out for a bloke named Ishii -- watch you back, Hollywood!

"The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini; "Blink" by Malcom Gladwell; "How Soccer Explains the World" by Franklin Foer (just in time for World Cup!). Trying to get through "Velocity" by Dean Koontz, but sorta struggling -- just not as interesting as the sleeve. Get my music and gear news mainly from Future Music Magazine U.K. and Computer Music.
