A PRODUCTION AND ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY :
GOOD NEWS! Upstairz Production is free from a 7 year contract under Def Jam.
Orignially we were in house producers for Def Jam, banging out album fillers for up and coming artist. We came up strong.
They heard it. NY FYAH. We were set to due pre-production for one of NAS concept albums. We submitted FIRE tracks as usuall but Jay kept telling us to put it to the side for his "come back" album. "Yo, don't tell Kanye, but I will be replacing THREE of his tracks with yours"
At first it was cool but then my man started interupting our studio sessions rapping with the artist we were working with. They were discouraged because a lot of production went unfinished due to Jay selfishness. Everytime he came in, "Yo, I want that. NEW YORK IM BACK. Yall sure yall aint from Brooklyn?"
PLUS, we wasnt getting money or the recognition. 1 full year and we only got paid on 4 tracks and didnt get ANY production credit. The last straw came when I saw the production credit given to ANOTHER producer. Dude said its buisness, the record might sell more if you attatch a big name to it. This the 4th one B. Which led to this final studio session.......
"Hold up, hold up. Turn it down. Jay can I talk to you....Step out the booth B. You the man and all that, and technically you won that battle, but you need to fall back into your cubicle B." "These tracks TOO HARD for that type of flow B." "This is some ETHER shit"
- PROFORM face to face with Mr. Carter
Then next day Russel called talking about we getting released.
"THANK GOD, thanks for comin out and GOOD NIGHT"
- O.S.S. (On some shit) conference call.
NOW WE ARE OPEN FOR BUISNESS. GET AT ME. WE ARE NOT THE AVERAGE MYSPACE ARTIST. WE HAVE DIRECTION AND PROMISE. OH YEAH, THE TRACKS ARE FYAH.
Take time to check out the tracks. Turn it up. We will update new tracks WEEKLY so follow along. And at least 1 cut with vocals blended with our beat.found this music layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com :: MyHotComments
