Here's the boring stuff- 35, living single w/ my amazing 14 year old boy in the same small town I grew up in. I work as a Commercial Lines Account Manager- it sucks, but I'm good at it and it pays the bills. I adore the people I work with so that makes it a step above tedious.Iâ€™ve been single for quite some time. Tried to give it a go several times w/ some pretty great guys but ultimately that was not God's plan. Apparently he likes to tease, and he threw in a few assholes just to make it interesting too.I just took the most amazing trip to Ireland- what started out as two best friends ended up being a solo trip for me. I lost my best friend in the process. I'm still extremely hurt- but I have to believe it all happens for a reason. My solo trip taught me so much and the things I saw I will never forget. The things I learned are even more valuable. I'm grateful.My sister lives in Vancouver, BC and was married a year ago in June- so we made the trip out for that. She's 3 years younger and my only shot at being an auntie- too bad it will be so far away )-: Her husband is a hoot, the perfect compliment to her, they are a dream couple.I'm sure that's more than enough info for you!

My Interests

I'm interested in removing the alien that has taken over my teenager- I'll say no more on that. I LOVE animals- cats, tigers, dogs & squirrels and elephants the most. My friends and family mean the universe to me.

Movies:

All over the map like my music taste- Right now I cannot stop watching 13 Going on 30, I love Armegeddon, Rudy, Forrest Gump, the list goes on and on. Most recently I was able to see an Indie film done by some men from the St. Francis House in NY called The Human Experience- it was life changing.

Television:

CSI - Original, Law & Order (not CI), Criminal Minds, Any random documentary that seems interesting, Guilty pleasures- Big Brother, South Park & Family Guy

Books:

Lord, if I could sit still that long- I like to clean too much. Does listening to book on CD in the car count? I just started the Secret... I hope it tells me. I'm also reading a book called "Yes, your teen is crazy". It's very comforting.

Heroes:

My mom & dad, and mostly my Gramma Rose who has passed- she always told my mom how good I was no matter what horrible things I was doing- she never ever stopped believing in me.
