Jakob Brondum

Grew up in the scary country side of Denmark close to the German border. Spend most of my childhood on a pony - which tried to kill me the second day after my grandmother gave it to me!! Besides from my pony-stunts, I spend time getting into trouble, jumping on my neighbour’s roof, stealing sweets from the local supermarket, decorating the local banks’ windows with hundreds of hearts of cream cheese, painted nude painting for the little library (a very short exhibition). On a study trip to London Town at 16, I threw a coin in the pond at the Tower of London (which is said to be a wishing pond…for dumb tourists), anyway I made a wish to return, and four years later I did. Left Denmark to go to Central Saint Martins – same circus – different characters!! Been in London since – still getting into trouble, but no more pony-stunts!
