Biography
A long, long time ago, a glorious civilization of Dwemer craftsmen dwelled in realms deeper than one can ever imagine. The realms of Arkngthand! Here they would mine their precious stones and manufacture the most amazing machinery. As the ages went by, these dwarves disappeared off the face of the earth entirely. But now, finally, a group of young musicians awoke by the calls from these ancient times. The stories told by the dwarves will sound on this earth once more. Arkngthand was too long forgotten, long live Arkngthand! With a year of songwriting and rehearsing, a couple of great gigs, and the inevitable line-up changes, there was formed a more than stable foundation for the upcoming times. The musical direction taken by Arkngthand could best be described as a mix of melodic and heavy metal with some late 80’s influences. Slightly sprinkle some folky-melodies over the whole thing and Wham!

Latest News - Summertime Killing Spree
Ladies & gentleman, this summer is getting better and better. Yesterday we won the Mama's Pridest award on The Mama's Pride open air festival! This earned us a prime time spot on Mama's Pride 2009!
