Hailing from Lebanon & inheriting his passion for music from his parents, Dj - Producer "Ibrahim Dahoui" a.K.a dj Ibra has been fascinated by turntables since he was 13. Although having regretfully lacked a certain degree of discipline to succeed in his piano studies at the Beirut Conservatory, young Ibra was already fine-tuning his fingers for their true purpose. Born in 1979, the year Danny Tenaglia discovered the Paradise Garage with Larry Levan (and his infamous loft parties), Ibra moved to Montreal at the age of 17 to pursue his studies (graduated with a bachelor of Commerce, major in management from Concordia university) and a degree in Sound Engineering from (Recording Arts School Of Canada). He began his dj-ing career at the age of 19. Striking familiar with vinyl beneath his fingertips, music both a divinity and a sanctuary for his infectious persona, he spends days in the production studio & nights evolving his dj-ing skills simply a warm-up for the overseas dj-ing years to come. During his schooling years in Montreal Ibra had the opportunity to play in some of Montréal’s Finest clubs Such as: Stereo, Living Night Club, Illume, Times, Bubbles, Kokinos, London, Pure, Central Station, Sona, Mile End, Taro Supper Club, Club 1234, Myst Lounge, Tribe, Jet, System, Along side local and international big name djs such as Behrouz, Dimitri from Paris, Cevin Fisher, Oscar G, Sultan, Anton M, David Morales, Frank Keller Junior (Belle Amour Paris), Bob Sinclair, Trevor Walker, Loco Fern, Dj Anton, Danny Torrence, Luc Raymond, XL, Simon P, the list is long but we will leave you on that note.
