About Me

Some people call me Sparker.I like to eat the tops off of muffins.

At the moment, I'm devouring an entire sweet potato, sometimes using my hands. My roommate is not at home, so I am talking to the cats. It is my future intended destiny to become a crazy old cat lady. Then they will remake that action figure to look like ME, bitches.

I'm even kindof dressed like a crazy old cat lady at the moment, except I'm wearing sweatpants instead of a mumu. But unlike most other college girls, my sweatpants do not have any sort of writing across the ass. I try to keep things classy.

Hm. What else can I say? Do people actually read these things? Bonnie? I think you do?

I have some pretty amazing friends. Which is pretty lucky, actually, since mostly just insane people are drawn to me. Must be the red hair. At the moment I am drawn to using the words "creepy" or "creepster" in many forms, probably because many things in my life may be described as such: the creepster stick bugs in the film I had to watch tonight for Lying and Deception, the newfangled Facebook (yes I just referenced another online networking site on this one. . .that's probably not allowed. I will probably be forced to hang out with Tom or something as punishment. . .you'd think he'd really have found a better picture to put up by now.) and the book title The Sovereignty and Goodness of God because it was written by a Puritan and I think Puritans are creepy.

Maybe I'm just prejuidiced because they would have burned me at the stake for having touched "the fires of hell." Obviously that could be the only plausible explanation for having red hair.

I would also like to make the additional announcement that the "married" status of my profile reflects my polygamous marriage to both my wife of almost 21 years, rebecca, and my new wife kj. unfortunately myspace does not endorse lesbian polygamy, so "married" was my best choice for expression of my love.

My Interests

dancing, prancing, sailing, rebecca anne pavlik, the written word, a certain goose, stealing kt's identity, naming inanimate objects such as my electronic devices, doing pilates in the living room while kt makes fun of me/bakes brownies/the cats attack me, TCBY white chocolate mousse frozen yogurt, kitten, especially threatening to make him into pie, my $3000 exotic stray cat who likes to play fetch, drinking coffee at midnight when the moment is not right, personificating song lyrics, sunday morning breakfast tacos

I'd like to meet:

I have already had the pleasure of meeting my ultimate hero, Jane Goodall, when I was in fourth grade. I was the only nerdy elementary kid begging her Mom to get tickets to the Houston Zoo lecture. This is why my childhood was better than yours. But I would definitely also like to meet all those MySpace hotties who send me messages like "ur/your so hawt baybee!". Nothing turns me on more than a man with a complete lack of grammatical skills and the hope that such a generic message will win him some sort of attention.

Music:

blue october reminds me of being in high school, wishing i was in college/ veda makes me want to rewind/ corinne bailey rae makes me want to put my records on/ imogen heap makes me want to play hide and seek/ james taylor and cat stevens remind me that i'm secretly a middle-aged woman/ carla bruni is so damn hot its not fair/ goldfrapp. . .ooh la la/ jpatt on the tambi is by far the greatest of all time/ jem reminds me of jem and the holograms/ coheed and cambria makes me happy/ old school aerosmith makes me purse my big lips/ old school mj makes me do the beat it dance. . .and reminds me of theatre/ depeche mode is my own personal jesus/ badly drawn boy reminds me of fake british/ the stars make me look up/ spoon is the infinite pet/ big n' rich reminds me of a computer chair horse ride/ trail of dead makes me count off the days/ APC makes me love maynard and worship him eternally/ sinatra makes me want to foxtrot and wear a hat/ frou frou makes you happy/ james blunt makes me sigh/ ok go.

Movies:

ever after because i am a girl, amelie is my favorite, robin hood: men in tights made me first fall in love with cary elwes, the princess bride further confirmed this love, dangerous beauty made me wish i was a badass cortesan, breakfast at tiffany's is infinitely quotable, but not in the way most movies are, beauty and the beast because i am five, 10 things i hate about you is arguably the best teen movie ever, nicholas nickelby makes me wish i was anne hathaway so i could make out with charlie hunnam, strictly ballroom and above all- the horrible, cringe-inducing movies made by rebecca and myself at age 12

Television:

i do not have a fully functional television, and no, this does not make me sad.

Books:

the exodus, the lord of the rings (i embrace my nerdiness but draw the line long before speaking elvish) harry potter (embrace your inner nerdy child. they long to be loved), pride and prejudice, my nerdy tamora pierce books, the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime (picked up randomly in the airport and came to be love), this lullaby (classic me), me talk pretty one day, the persian boy (thank you nen!), fahrenheit 451, hug!, and the many lives and secret sorrows of josephine b (what can i say, i love historical fiction. almost as much as i love parenthesis)

Heroes:

jane goodall for her chimpanzees and dedication; sydney bristow because she is one kick-ass chick; audrey hepburn for her grace and talent; lucy for being, well, lucy; gilda radner for her wicked talent and possession of gene wilder; alexander the great for being the sexiest and most extraordinary person to ever exist; alanna of trebond for being the inspiration for my young life; rebecca anne pavlik for being my bestie for life; and jessica rabbit for not being able to help that she was drawn like that
