Lampard

A mediados del 2005 nace Lampard, agrupación originaria de Monclova, Coahuila que enfrentando la inquietud de hacer nuevo rock, reúne las influencias de cada uno de sus integrantes con las tendencias actuales del género. Las composiciones dan como resultado una música fresca, intensa, original y propositiva.

Este grupo debe sus inspiraciones a bandas recientes como Eels, Snow Patrol, Grandaddy, Franz Ferdinand y The Killers; pero a la vez rinde homenaje a las grandes bandas del Rock Clásico.

This four regular guys from Monclova, Mexico, got together in the mid 2005 to start playing covers from bands like Snow Patrol, Grandaddy, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers,etc until they defined their own sound...In december that same year they started writing their own songs. Their music is a diferent mix of sounds: from the Urban-rock to the mod-revival and from Powerpop to the Neo-psychodelia but staying in the Indie rock sound...
In April 2006 they won the first place in the battle of the bands in Monterrey which was called Push The Rock...
Lampard just signed up to the new record label Sound Cocktail Records, the EP its going to a new phase of post-production, by the music producer Rafaelle Bonetti.
