i seem genuinely interested in certain things...

About Me

i am a father. an a-fucking-dorable little man proves it.i have recently succeeded in almost entirely destroying my adolescence, admittedly late, but hey, who the fuck are you?... i have been to more than 30 countries and 40 us states, i have been arrested four times in two states, went to college at fifteen, spent more than a year (overall) in various inpatient treatment centers, and finally learned i really cant imbibe mood-altering chemicals, what with their tendency to lead me to crackholes and heroin withdrawal, i am married to an absolutely wonderful woman and WE HAVE A SON!!! his name is Fuller, and we like it (and love him)... my hope is that he becomes a better person than me, (details to be chosen by him).. suddenly i find myself wearing ties (during the day), riding the metro, and shopping for a home in the outskirts of dc (the best of the several cities ive lived in, thats right miami, la and nyc, you can all fuck off, i mean, i like you and all, but i really cant take your shit for more than a couple weeks any more)... i seem to have become a young professional, attending seminars on Zimbabwean affairs with people in suits and video-conferencing from Pretoria, and have some sort of magnetic security badge.. my only sadness is that my most recent band has fallen apart with jacques' move to sweden i am not sure how all this happened, but when i become an ambassador, senator, start a worthwhile ngo, or am simply a really good father and husband, someone else can take it upon themselves to figure it out for i really dont care.. the only thing that could make my life better would be space travel and/or colonization, but i am still waiting on that ---------------------------------------------------- a mass of varied influences, chronic, congenital and other adding up to a person (so im told) no longer disillusioned but often apathetic and yet completely convinced that all is as it should be (usually) and that history needs me to assist in the colonization of new worlds, i thrive on pipe dreams, used to fall in love with girls on buses passing me on the street, i havent hit anyone out of anger since elementary school but still dig a good slappin but spankings more my style, im not afraid of nihilists, think most artists are silly, consider this possibility: were the sky to be unzipped, thus revealing a gigantic face with a childs grin, would not the world make just a little bit more sense?; i think people are funny and i like the idea of them but detest that blank stare that accompanies that which i find funny, which is most everything, especially when it makes most people uncomfortable, our species is too absurd to be considered tragic, i respect people who think the earth is flat and can concieve of one day starting up my very own cult of polyamorous lovin, guerilla training, and monkeys monkeys everywhere if theres going to be a true revolution we must look beyond just the workers and consider the inevitable inclusion of primates i think eating is inefficient and am somewhat shocked that no ones figured out anything better i play music write and am studying international political economy in DC attempting to draw from various academis disciplines so as to generate or grasp an organic concept of human history and its potential future paths drawn from a variety of alternative forms of trade and development as well as civil resistance movements politics is the truest of all artforms, applied philosophy is what separates the humes from the sartres, i think hobbes had a good thing going with leviathan but belive it to be a bit adolescent heinlein had it a lot better, i often believe history has a funny way of getting us to do what it wants, i refuse to become bitter despite the failures of love, suffering is essential for growth and allows one to transcend the position of those who have never betrayed or been betrayed, ive been all over this world and want to get to the rest of it but given the chance i'd fly off it altogether and see what else there is, increasingly possible due ot the recent beginnings of private space travel (makes me all giddy) finishing my master's ive recently decided to pursue work i never thought of as me seeing as how i would never do it later wouldnt do it for long and would be endlessly amused as well as the base fact that the jobs are pretty damn cool just not representative of that ideal to which i aspire, these are: political officer in foreign service for this here state department, and intelligence agent for the CIA.. i mean come on, thats damn funny, if you knew me you'd probably know why, unless you werent paying attention, for which i couldnt blame you as there are those who do not find me as damn amusing as i generally do, fools and absurdities are the token facts of life, but maybe thats just me being foolish and absurd"...we only become what we are by the radical and deep-seated refusal of that which others have made of us." -Jean-Paul Sartre (from the introduction to Franz Fanon's Wretched of the Earth which you really shoud read... yes you, damnit)
You scored as Existentialist. Existentialism emphasizes human capability. There is no greater power interfering with life and thus it is up to us to make things happen. Sometimes considered a negative and depressing world view, your optimism towards human accomplishment is immense. Mankind is condemned to be free and must accept the responsibility.
