"Rising star and taste-maker David Katz brings eclectic
back to the Lounge scene. His often edgy and unpredictable
DJ sets echo the era of Spy Bar and Magnum before the
Tyrannical and now decaying reign of Hip Hop DJ's in the
fashion industry / celebrity nightlife circuit"
"The New Exclusive"

"At Benz's intimate fashion week presentation at christie's
the pop inspired palette complimented what the designer
refers to as "60s French bubble gum music" from singers
such as Francoise Hardy and France gall, mixed with modern
day heirs like Pink Martini and Of Montreal. Benz met
the DJ who mixed the show, David Katz, at the now-shuttered
boite, Double Seven, and the two are collaborating again
for the designers next presentation"
- September issue of Nylon Magazine.

"To celebrate Lydia Hearst’s new bag for Puma, a big ole
party was thrown in her honor last week at 60 Thompson.
Lydia fans such as Leven Rambin, Richie Rich, Traver Rains
Jacob Lodwick, Andre J and Dani Stahl came out to show
their support and sway back and forth to tunes provided by DJ
David Katz."
