About Me

"I like to sit quietly in public places, she said, to make up for being so obnoxious in private."(Brian Andreas wrote that)Here's where I have lived: three islands, three mountain towns, the city of brotherly love, and sin city. If I put where I would like to visit, then my map would look like a bucket of paint was spilled on it..blacktext12 { font-family:arial; color:466f81;

My Interests

All that hippie outdoor stuff, like backpacking, paddling, biking, figuring out how to repel my dog down a canyon (if anyone has experience with this, give me a shout out), and wrestling wildlife (which is what I do for a living)--Canine Behavior--Good food and wine--Italians--Young Urban Hipsters--Latin Dancing--How people got the scars they have (just the physical ones, thanks)--How glasses make you look smarter--Good music I have never heard--Making work seem like a vacation.

I'd like to meet:

Sorry Alessandro, MySpace quizzes don't lie.
You Should Date An Australian!
You're a down to earth, outdoorsy kind of girl
And you need a guy who can keep up with your adventures
A rugged Austrailian guy is just your style
Better start learning how to surf! Which Foreign Guy Should You Date?

Music:

Oh, so much good music, so little time. It all depends on my mood. There's appropriate music for cooking, driving, dancing, plotting and scheming, giving birth, picking up dog shit, crying into your wine glass....Everything from Bossa Nova to Bad Religion to Thievery Corporation to Ben Harper to Us3 to The Shins...etc, etc. I like an eclectic mix.

Movies:

Fight Club, American Beauty, I Heart Huckabees, Amelie, Il Postino, Royal Tenenbaums, Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, Princess Bride (of course), Goonies, Singin' in the Rain (Little known fact, I'm a tap dancin' machine), PCU (never gets old for me), Office Space

Television:

Scrubs

Books:

Let's see...Shantaram, Cannery Row, Skinny Legs and All, A Suitable Boy, Jitterbug Perfume, David Sedaris stories, Life of Pi, Log From the Sea of Cortez, The Little Prince, Shantaram, and anything that ends in "for Dummies".

Heroes:

Guys in capes seem to be popular. I'll take one of those.
