The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work. Emile Zola

About Me

I am an artistic soul, a wonderer between lives, continents, empty spaces, looking to share my thoughts, beliefs, creative views and fascinations with delightful and captivating souls.I am a teacher of languages, and also an art historian who writes about art and organizes exhibits. I have studied Art History in Venice, and I also have a degree in Italian linguistics from The University of Toronto. My passions are writing, poetry, photography in my spare time, and curating exhibits with cutting edge photographers and artists from Toronto and Europe. I think art reflects life in its different facets - political, social, historical, cultural, aesthetic, and spiritual, and the artist speaks through his art in the hope to create a platform for discussion about issues in our lives. I have relatives in Bulgaria and Italy. I travel to both places often, and I treasure both heritages profoundly.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
