About Me

I've always been really attracted the Renaissance man ideal, so I've always tried to hold a wide range of interests. I spend most of my time working as a software engineer for a really cool start up. When I'm not working, I'm training BJJ at Wai Kru, reading, cooking, and love to make beats. All that jazz (actually Progressive House but thats not much of an expression) is available at www.djsarin.com if you're into that sort of thing.

When I finally get some time to chill, I'm all about spending time with my best friend and soul mate Laura, our son Jake whose just about the most bad ass kid ever :)

My Interests

Music, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, weight training, dancing, production, djing, reading, cooking, nice restaurants, being a dad

I'd like to meet:

Party people, people with kids, djs, producers, label heads, and just about everybody.

Music:

I love that dark, techy, proggy rocky house. It's definately what I'm feeling most. Though my own stuff has gotten more melodic and organic sounding lately. I also have alot of love for downtempo, house, breaks, and jungle for the charms each genre posseses. Outside of EDM I'm into FNX style alternative Rock and black metal.

Movies:

The Crow, Van Wilder, V for Vendetta, 300, Man on Fire, Snakes on a Plane, Deep Blue Sea (okay any cheesy thriller) and The Wall

Television:

The Dailey Show, South Park, Family Guy

Books:

Anything on weight training, business, or marketing, biographies, UI stuff when I'm feeling really nerdy, Harry Potter, Kurt Vonnegut, and stuff like that.

Heroes:

All those DJ's, Producers, and Label Owners that have fought in the trenches to make the electonic music community what it is today. And of course Pat Bulman.
