About Me

I'm passionate about exploring my inner and outer worlds by experiencing all that I'm able. My footprint is small but rich, intake is alive and green (coconut keifer water anyone?) and my heart is open. I'm grateful to be in this sunny dark and delectable city of LA.......................................................... ...................................................Born, raised, schooled (yoga'ed, danced and partied) in Minneapolis, I pursued careers in public relations and production (short films, commercials and music videos). One day the Sundance Film Festival called. In Nov 03 I moved to Salt Lake City and joined the festival press office for two seasons. In Feb 05, I continued West to LA to nuture my own personal and creative endeavors and to focus on film publicity for indie films. Paramount Classics, the American Film Institute, a film company and various film festivals (at a studio now) have been stop-offs along my work path. ............................................................ .................................................

I'd like to meet:

AMAZING PEOPLE DOING AMAZING THINGS

Music:

acoustic guitar and/or harmonica around a campfire.....anyone? anyone? Wilco, James Webber, Willie, Dan Wilson, 70s rock...yep, stuff to dance to, bossa nova, Ryan Adams. Jazz. The Verve. EBTG...

Movies:

Film transports people--moves them along. Whether it's experiencing the might of a Jedi or the injustices of Walmart, narratives and documentaries alike not only entertain but enlighten. For now I choose this business to help propel these inspirations. My heart is in the doc and I'll probably help to produce one someday...Netflix girl for those indie films.

Television:

Trash TV can be good like a Dairy Queen Peanut Buster Parfait on a drive to northern Minnesota--because it doesn't happen often anymore. PBS programming....And anything that's redesigned in 30 to 60 minutes. But right now I'm not turning on the tube.

Books:

Paul Hawken. David Deida. David Suzuki. John Wellwood. Deepak Chopra. Nonfiction mostly. Sunday NYT (Online). I enjoy meandering in bookstores discovering what I'm drawn to on that day.

Heroes:

Environmentalists. Explorers. Artists. The late Senator Paul Wellstone (D) Minn. A man who stood solidly (among much opposition in Washington) for what he believed in.
