About Me

Hey all! To start I'd like to say that I am the luckiest woman. I've been married to the most wonderful man and my best friend for almost two years. Evan and I were married June 2, 2006 at the Botanic Gardens in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. It was the most magical, fairytale-like wedding and the happiest day of my life. We spent almost a month and a half on our honeymoon touring the east coast, the Bahamas, and most of Europe . . . 15 countries to be exact. I've been teaching Kindergarden in Carson for the past three years, but I'm looking for a school a lot closer to home for next year. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2005 and am a proud Alumnae of the Delta Zeta Sorority. I met most of my best friends through Delta Zeta and can honestly say that my experiences as a DZ have shaped me into the woman I am today. I love my girls (even if I don't see them but a couple times a year now) and miss all of our carefree, fun times in college. That being said, I'm enjoying the journey life is taking me on and can't wait to see what's in store for Evan and me. Whatever it may be, I'm glad to have my love and best friend at my side. ..

My Interests

Music:

Country!! I'm a total country girl. I like most any type of music . . . except I'm not too big on techno or that loud heavy heavy metal crap that just sounds like someone screaming into a microphone. What are they saying anyway?

Television:

Laugh if you want, but I am obsessed with The Girls Next Door. Don't ask . . . I don't even understand. It's my guilty pleasure.

Books:

I love James Patterson . . . especially his Alex Cross series. My favorite book is The Grapes of Wrath and my favorite children's book is Tacky the Penguin.

Heroes:

My great grandmother is my hero. She was my best friend growing up and the hardest person to say good bye to. It is has been 7 years since she died, but I keep her picture on my desk and her memories in my heart.

My Blog

Friends Survey . . . my first ever!
