One day at a time....at least that's the plan :)

About Me

I love being actor and I love my doggies and I love my family. I consider myself so lucky because I have some of the best friends in the world even though I don't always take the time to recognize them. Right now my life focus is on me and making me a better and happier person. I've too long taking care of everybody else - now it's me time....at least that's the plan :) I've got strong southern roots, even though I'm a California girl. I have two major obsessions - Disney and sheep - both since I was ittle bitty. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future is holding for me.

My Interests

I love Disneyland (and anything Disney), collecting sheep (a habit I started at 6mos.), watching sports - especially football, having a good beer - usually that means something micro-brew or imported and usually a cask at room temperature (I spent too much time drinking in London), traveling - which I don't do enough of, being with my doggies, my friends, or my mom, lazy nights in front of the TV, a really good movie or really bad one that I love, and I love to bowl. Was in a league and bowled my first 200 game last fall!!!!

I'd like to meet:

Matt Suhey has recently been at the top of this list. As are most players from the '85 Bears - I really want my Super Bowl Plaque signed. Jorge Posada - my favorite Yankee :) I've always wanted to work for James Cameron and Oliver Stone.

Music:

Much to most people's surprise, I love punk and rockabilly - and really good classic rock. If it's going out time it's all 80's - nothing better to dance to! My CD case is the most random going from Johnny Cash to Les Mis to Oasis to Celine Dion - what can say, I have an eclectic taste in music.

Movies:

Anything Disney - including all of the amazing live action Disney films that no one has heard of - my personal favorite being In Search of the Castaways. My favorite animated is still Snow White followed very closely by Peter Pan. I love anything with Katherine Hepburn - especially The Philadelphia Story. I thought Crash was amazing and deserved the Oscar even though I'm not sure I could ever watch it again. Gone With the Wind and The Wizard of Oz are staples in my collection - as is The Dark Crystal. Love Brian's Song - I know big surprise. Silence of the Lambs goes on anytime I see it on the guide - Jodi Foster is one of my acting idols. The Godfathers - all of them, JFK, and Platoon round out the list. At least the partial one.

Television:

So loving Lost (best show since NYPD Blue) and 24. And although I shouldn't admit it, because it's destroying the Union and taking away so many actors' jobs - I'm addicted to reality tv.....Apprentice on Mondays, Idol on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Amazing Race - whatever night it is now, and Survivor on Thursdays. Oh, and any football game that comes on - and if it's the Bears do not call - unless it's during a commercial. Although I'll really watch any baseball, football, or hockey game on - and sometime basketball especially the tourney. My late night going to bed habits include Headline News and all the cool forensics shows on A&E and Court TV.

Books:

White Oleander is near the top of list as is Memoires of a Geisha. Still love Gone with the Wind and Scarlett. Recently read Walter Payton's autobiography and bawled like a baby - I love you Sweetness :) Johnny Cash's was pretty heart wrenching as well - but he did talk about playing at my great uncle's club in Alaska back in the day so that was cool. And of course, how could my reading life be complete without my Harry Potter collection!

Heroes:

I've always admired Jackie O - she stood so brave and strong when her world collasped around her and was ALWAYS a lady - I don't think there's enough of those in the world anymore. My grandmother was always proof that it didn't take a fancy education, or much of one at all, to be an amazing an accomplished person. And Walter Payton who had to be one of the most kind, giving, and generous people to ever walk this earth - one my only regrets is that I never got a chance to meet him.
