Wine, art, wine, traveling, and oh...did I mention wine?
Hilary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Oprah, and all the other strong, independent women in this country...there are so few strong women for us to look up to and I think it's the job of my generation to change that! Oh, and any old friends out there, I'd love to here how your lives are turning out!
So I've been into this kind of depressing music genera for a long time (like since I was about 12), so my favorite bands have been The Cure, Radiohead, Depeche Mode etc. for, well, forever. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Greenday, Sublime, Smashing Pumkins, REM and all the other great rock of the 90s is also great. Plus anything like Cake or Modest Mouse, Shins...My new favorites (maybe old to some, but new to me) are Loney, Dear, The Polyphonic Spree, and The New Pornographers.
Labrynth (oh yeah...David Bowie is hot in that body suit), Sabrina (the original), Super Troopers, Detroit Rock City, American Beauty, Walk the Line, In Her Shoes, Goonies, The Breakfast Club, anything w/ Jonny Depp (especially Don Juan De Marco), X-Men, Silence of the Lambs, Garden State...
Just say no! But, I've totally jumped on the bandwaggon for terrible tv...Project Runway, House, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy. You name it, I've watched it to avoid studying!
Catcher in the Rye, I know why the caged bird sings, anything by Bill Bryson, Memoirs of a Geisha, Hitchhiker's Guide, Reading Lolita in Tehran, Kite Runner
My parents. They are my inspiration every day.
