Voo da Teach

Pretty good at making this cocky shit that rhymes.

About Me

I developed my style right here in Basement Atlanta. I write and record what entertains me moreso than what I hope others will like. Fuck it.I've probably got some undiagnosed self-worth issues, hence the all the braggadocio, big-timing shit I drop on tracks. But I guarantee after two listens I'll damn sure be your favorite pigeonholed, no variety, one dimensional rapper.Check my full-length album of original shenanigans. My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Akai S950, Cool Edit, Miller Genuine Draft, FLStudio, Akai MPD24, M-Audio Axiom 25, Technics 1200 and every record I can find in Goodwill.
Influences: Lyrically - I'm influenced by every cat I've ever heard rhyme about politics, crack, relationships, money, or whatever else they fucking struggled with growing up - I listen, process it...then remind myself why I don't like to hear that shit in the first place. For the moment, I'm not concerning myself with conceptional verses and tracks expressing various opinions about how fucked up the world is. In the same breath, however, I don't have anything against artists that do use Hip-Hop as a medium of that sort. If that's how they intend to express themselves, so be it. In my case, my real world occupation puts me right in the middle of that shit everyday. I direct lives in the classroom. My music is an escape from the issues I have to face five days a week, as opposed to others that screw around in real life only to try to present some agenda in a song. So when I talk about smacking some kid for his dollars, Deutsche Marks, or Pesos - that's my therapy of sorts, suckas.Beat-wise - Doom, Madlib, Jdilla, Stoupe, Automator, J-Zone, Kool Akiem, Necro, etc. keep me filtering and sampling that weird shit. I take pride in the fact that my beats reflect my personality. There's no radio in this bag, for sure.
Sounds Like: I got some issues.

About these beats ...... and shit.

Those of you that have checked the page every once and awhile have maybe noticed that I'm dropping quite a few beats on here for short spins. Here's the deal - you hear it, you like it... then "dibs" ...

Support these cats!

I'm pretty adamant in my dislike of most mainstream "Hip Hop". As most fans of the underground, I'll bob my head to some synthesized beats here and there - but when it comes to supporting artists and ...
