Young Brizz is one of Philadelphia’s hottest upcoming young rap artists andhas been hitting the underground scene hard for the past 6 years. YoungBrizz has claimed himself to be "Philly’s Most Slept On Rap Artist" butwith an ambition and grind Brizz has risen to be a great songwriter andlyricist, putting strength in his music.Originally born in FairFax Virginia then later raised in South WestPhiladelphia, music has been a part of Brizz’s life for years. In the earlyyear of 2002 Brizz was 14 years old and wasn’t really concerned about amusic career, he was highly involved with basketball and other sports.Brizz has a older cousin by the name of Thomas A.K.A "Philly" who was arapper who constantly freestyled around Brizz. During Brizz’s basketballoff-season, Brizz spent some of his time observing how his cousin Phillycreated and delivered his music. While watching his older cousin, Brizzlater got inspired and began writing raps & freestyling.In 2004 Philly was mentoring Brizz and was teaching him the basics ofrapping, and told him to find a stage name (Rap Name). At first Brizz chosethe name "Mikey B." but later realized it was to young and childish, soPhilly suggested him to use the name "Blizz" and he ran with name. In themiddle of 2004 Philly was arrested and later released and was sent away toanother correctional facility and since Philly was gone Brizz had no one tokeep him motivated.Brizz Felt that he had to make some changes in his life, by putting thebasketball down and picked up a pen and paper and constantly writting rapsand later changed his name from "Blizz" to what we now call him today"Young Brizz".Brizz was a solo rapper and decided to make team, so he then asked his bestfriend Young Elz to join forces with him and build a foundation in the rapgame, Brizz & Elz decided to call them selves "BrizzElz" (BreezElz). WhenBrizz was 15 he entered High school and he knew what had to do to build abuzz, he hopped in cyphers and battled many other rappers who were popularin school and some popular rappers in the streets. From 2005 to this dayBrizz is on his grind to prove that he has what it takes to be a GREAT HIPHOP ARTIST.2008 is the TAKE OVER YEAR FOR YOUNG BRIZZ. Him and his partener Young Elzformed a found team called "Team-Absolute" containing Rap Artists,Producers, & DJ’s and Young Brizz started his own independent label called"TRUTH IN YOUR PRESENCE ENT". In the past year Young Brizz has been on over200 dj mixtapes such as Dj Haze, Nu Jerzey Devil, Dj Capcom, Dj Diggz & DjRated R. DJ G-Spot, DJ Pimp, HiTower UK, Dj Messiah, Dj Ophax and many morepopular dj’s. He dropped one classic mixtape called "The Crack House".Brizzhas recorded tracks with hot underground artists like, Remo da RapStar,Chubbie Baby, Rich Boy, Magno, Geolani, Pay$oz and many more hot artistsare on the come up. Young Brizz’s classics have appeared on "XM Radio",Philadelphia’s own "100.3 The Beat", "Zombie Radio", and other hot radiostations nation wide.
