LiVe The Legend

When I first met him he was rapping in the hallway, just like any other typical young man who had been influenced by Hip-Hop. There wasn’t a crowd but I still happened to hear the young emcee, which spit a quick hot sixteen bars for his friend and still happen to make it to class on time. I was feeling his flow, and I hoped to later hear some more of his work. He is now my favorite artist and goes by the named, “LiVe” the Living Legend. Born in Mount Vernon, as a child he moved to the B.X. Borough and now resides in the Section Five part of Co-op City in the Bronx. LiVe, the up and coming seventeen year old emcee delivers something very different and rare to New York Hip-Hop. The Bronx raised emcee has a unique style rather than using profanity. He expresses himself with what some people would call “big words”. With his large vocabulary he soon hopes to eventually release his mix tape off of the indie labels, “Team Storm” and Acrylics Records” called “Live and Let Die”, which is titled based of a song by…He represents what Hip-Hop is missing and can rap about anything. He is soon to take the world by storm with his smash hits, “Hold it Down Like This” and most recent track, “You”. He has been a great experience to me who aspires to be an up and coming music producer. My favorite style of music wouldn’t be the same if LiVe couldn’t deliver the special package that he brings to the culture of Hip-Hop. If there was anything I want to learn in music it would have to be the background of the artists’ lifestyle. "Im just Searching for a sense of individuality in the hip-hop business, i know alot of things aint never gunna change but alot of things have. the wat music is produced and sold has become far more advanced over the years i respect that. Technology is a good thing but can become a bad thing if we let it. But as long as u make good music it overpowers the fact that music is constantly being stolen right in front of the artists eyes everyday."
