I don't have any hobbies as of yet. I love golf and everything about it, even though I don't get to play it much anymore. I did play on a softball team called the TurfDawgs, that was fun. But other than work and being with my son, it's hard to find hobbies.
Well, I'd love to meet Greg Norman, John Daly, Phil Mickleson, Larry Bird, and hopefully if I'm still alive, the person who cures cancer.
I listen to just about anything but country. Not a big fan sorry. Alternative kicks arse, I like me some hip hop ever so often, and on occasions I like some bluegrass. Kind of odd since I don't like country. But give me anything alternative, and I'll probably like it.
I love movies! Action/Adventure, Martial Arts, Horror, Drama, and yes even a chick flick with my wife occasionally. I'm really liking the comic book movies that have been recently coming out. "Remember the Titans" is my favorite sports movie, and a very close 2nd is "Hoosiers". My fav all time is the "Matrix" triology. You just can't go wrong with those. Oh, and hate to say this, but if you have a g/f, wife, etc. watch either "Serendipity" or "The Lake House". Both really good chick movies. Sorry, had to leave my man side on that one.
What's not to like about TV. I'm a "Lost" fanatic right now. I'm also a "Heroes" fanatic too. What a show that is. I always can't wait till next week. I watch me some wrestling every now and then, HAHA! My wife loves the reality shows. My son loves Blues Clues, Dora, Thomas the Train, and pretty much everything on Noggin. So I get it all.
This best book I have read thus far is a book called "Final Rounds" by James Dodson. If you are close to your father, like golf, then this is it. I hate to say anything about the book, because I don't want to give anything away. Another good book was about Tom Watson's caddy, "Caddy for Life", it was really moving. Hope you enjoy both.
My hero is my dad. He really showed me how to be a man, to take care of your family by any means necessary. He was on the road two to three weeks at a time, not because he wanted to, but because he had to. So my mother basically raised me. Which leads me to my greatest hero of all time. My mother. She has battled cancer and won with the help of surgery. The life she had to live, the sorrow she went thru... she is the bravest, strongest person I'll ever know. I love them both.
