Yes it is true...once I am finished with my thesis I am finally flying out to Beirut to see my Wifey after nearly 2 long years without seeing her! So if there is anything that you want me to bring back for you, you have until May 18th to tell me!

You may or may not know about doughnut days (or as other people call it, Friday), but I thought I would list the top 5 doughnuts places...they are in no particular order; 1. Polk, north of California, west side of street (can't remember the name), 2. Happy Donuts- 9th & Judah (open 24hrs!), 3. Van Ness, south of Bush, east side of street (can't remember the name), 4. Happy Donuts- 24th & Church (open 24hrs!), and 5. Polk, north of Larkin, east side of street (can't remember the name). At all of these places, there are jelly doughnuts! which are my favorite, but even the plain doughnuts are good. They are moist, fresh, and often melt in your mouth. I LOVE DOUGHNUT DAY!

I have a love/hate relationship with Tucson. When I moved to Tucson I was promised that the dry river beds would fill up and become raging rivers, and I was excited. All I wanted was to see this, the rain, the lighting, and the flooding...well it never happened...so what happens the first year I'm there and I'm out of town, 6 days after I move, and the following year after my 4 extremely long, dry years there.....this....
