I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

I'm 26 years old. I've graduated college, I'm a former Marine, and love to stay active. I work For Xerox Litigation Services in Albany as a database analyst. Well, not really a database analyst, but that's the closest to what I do. I'm also in the Security Forces division of the Air National Guard. I guess my three main hobbies are working out, video games with my friends, poker and having a few beers with my buddies. Okay, that's four, but I play poker and drink with friends at the same time so that might only count as one.

My Interests

Buncha stuff. I already mentioned video games, skiing, poker, working out and drinking. I also like darts, but hate pool. Hmmm, this is a tough one, I'll get back to you.

I'd like to meet:

People who like to have a good time. I'm straight, so I don't really have any standards for meeting guys, so long as you're not a total asshole, or whiney. Girls, I'm looking for casual to semi-serious dating. Age, somewhere around me, give or take 4 years or so. I don't really have a type body wise, but mentally I'm looking for someone with a good sense of humor, smart and with a lot of passion about something in her life.

Music:

Foo Fighters, favorite band. Other than that I like alot of stuff, 70's rock and roll, 80's hairbands, old school rap, a little techno. Mainly alternative though.

Movies:

Lots. Don't even know where to begin. How about this, if you want to know if I like a specific movie, ask me and I'll tell you.

Television:

Law and Order in all its forms, that show is addicting. Also, Daily Show, South Park and Drawn Together. Mythbusters is pretty cool, I also watch Heroes and Boston Legal... hmmm, I guess I watch more TV than I thought

Books:

see movies, but I am a big fan of Dean Koontz

Heroes:

Manilla John Basilone, a Marine in WW2, he was heavily decorated, including a Medal of Honor in the island hopping campaign in the Pacific. After winning the MoH for heroism at Guadalcanal, he was sent beack to the States to help with war bond and other fund raising. However, he voluntarily returned to the Pacific, and at Iwo Jima held a machine gun nest singlehanded against the Japanese onslaught, before assulting an enemy blockhouse and sadly killed in an artillery blast.
