Sooo....my name is Stephen Belanger, I'm 20 years old and I'm a huge geek. ^_^ My hair right now is a natural brown; I need money for dye. I'm a tiny bit skinny and a little above average height compared to most people I know my age. I'm rather pale white skinned, probably because I spend most of my time indoors. :P
Anyway, I'm quite a bit of a nerd. I'm a C/C# programmer that develops RPGs in my spare time. I love video games and really any type of technology. I'm the type of person that would buy a cellphone because it has a camera in it, even though I'd probably already have a better digital camera. I love anything that has to do with Japan; the music, the games, the anime, the culture, the food, the beautiful women, and of course Sakura trees. I really like music; I write songs and I play guitar, piano and drums. I'm into the usual teenage tastes, but with a bit of a twist. I appreciate all music and will listen to anything with creativity to it. I don't really like most rap or country much...but just like any genre it's not without a few exceptions. I watch quite a bit of anime; I love everything about it. Anime is so artistic yet it can be artistic in a beautiful way while at the same time in a non-serious way. ^_^
I have my own book that I started writing in grade 10, it's called Crimson Crusade (originally named The Miracols). Part of it anyway...it's a 3 part series. Crimson Crusade and Darkness Divine are 2 stories that occur at the same time but parallel to each other, then there is a yet to be named third series that takes place when the main characters of the 2 original books meet and journey together. The main characters of Crimson Crusade is Cyruz, the King of a group of magically-inclined humans called Miracols that are being pushed to extinction because they aren't accepted by regular humans. The main character of Darkness Divine is Draxs, a Blood Mage (a magical vampire) trying to liberate the vampires from slavery under human control. Cyruz and Draxs are both in similar situations even though they are normally natural enemies. Eventually, however; desperation forces them to cross paths and work together to create peace and equality in the world.
