I am a single mom of two sweet babies. Well, one of them is not a baby and hasn't been for a long time! My two children are 9 and 1 year and are the loves of my life. I just bought a brand new house for me and my children in Covington. I have always wanted to own my own home and I have done it. What a huge accomplishment for me!! I have done more with my life and for myself in the past two years than I did the entire 8 that I was married. I thank God everyday for giving me the strentgh to walk away from such an abusive person! I have never been happier in my life than I am at this point and moment that I am at now.Remember: Life is full of ups and downs, no matter what you try to do or happy a person you try to be. Take the cards that are dealt to you and play them to the best of your ability. That is all you can do. Don't try to do more than that, because it isn't possible. Life is going to throw curve balls all the time, but don't let them hit you or keep you down. Learn the lessons that are along the way and grow from those lessons. You will make the same mistake more than once and possibly more than twice. Don't beat yourself up about it, just try to learn from the past. Don't rush into things (right, I know, like i have room to talk), but from now on, I am going to think things through (or try to) before I make a big decision. Don't forget your friends and where you came from. You may need to go back to them one day. Only you can change yourself and only change because you want to, not because somebody else wants you to. You can only be the best that you allow yourself to be, so give yourself some room because we all have a ton of potential to be great!!
