About Me

I love old worn-out overalls, wildflowers in mason jars and hearing my baby laugh. I love cuddling up in my bed with lots of blankets on the occasional chance I get to sleep late and taking long hot baths. I love sushi (too much)!! I don't like bad customer service...NOTHING makes me crazier than to need customer service and them be rude-- when in all actuality I am helping support their families. At least ACT like you care! I drive a lot and have become keenly aware of the fact that most of the crazy drivers on the road do drive Buicks. Sorry if you are a buick owner, it's true. I LOVE folk art, outsider art and anything painted on an old rusty piece of metal. I'm a good cook but tend fix the same meals over and over. I know this sounds crazy but I HATE fast food. I can tolerate it on rare, rare occasions--like when I'm forced to eat it when traveling. And I am not particularly fond of Pizza. I LOVE live music and have been to enough concerts to stun my son when he is older. I like a wide variety of music and can get my groove on to some old-school country as quick as Rock'n'Roll. I know lots of old time religious tunes too, which amazes my husband at times how I know these things. Even though we don't attend church now I did grew up in church and have an unusual amount of irrelevant knowledge about the Bible. I loved elementary school, hated middle school, was confused in high school and LOVED college. I think outside the box and encourage others to do the same. I am blessed with my Dream Job at OPEN HEARTS ART CENTER where I work with the most amazing and talented students and staff. I am inspired every day by something or someone! I wish on stars but believe in controlling your own destiny too, and I have found over a hundred four-leaf clovers in the past 20 years. At our old home in Leicester we had a patch of them that grew every year under my bedroom window and the next home we moved to in Weaverville had a patch under an apple tree. I think am one of the luckiest people in the world (but not because of the 4-leaf clovers). My life is richly blessed. Don't get me wrong--we live paycheck to paycheck--but hopefully not forever. I learned a long time ago that it definitely isn't money that makes you rich! And lastly....I don't know how I got convinced to do this or how I think think I have time to maintain it. this layout is from whateverlife.com!..
