With the best musical insparations behind us, The Stones, The Beatles, Hendrix, Bowie, Elvis and so on, inspiring the new and upcoming artists of today, who says the 21st century music is rubbish? and its not like it was in the good old days? and that the days of REAL music (not ponsty art kids buying their way into the industry trying to glorify themselves into worthless rock stars) is far from lost? OK, yes the latter do exist, but so do bands who deserve to be heard from all over England, not just Brighton. So music has been literally strangled at the neck and butchered and semi-destoyed, but its not too late to change! Through the generations many monumental bands have passed and made their mark by combining ideas from past legends and forming their own new individual sound such as Joy Division, Goldfrapp, The White Stripes. As bands come and go so do their trends, followers and ideas. There is always more room for more good music. It is a very excting time for music, so much has hapend in music in so many different aspects and genres of it, and trailing behind all its tales of rock 'n' roll, noone knows where it will go next. As a result of all that its left all us young dreamers only with more open minds and larger ideas introducing more sub-rock and genres like electro-pop and robot-rock. As The Who so rightly once said: 'This is my generation' so lets make the most of it! Let us continue downloading music off the internet and leaving the record companies with sod all money, Penny Lane Music Promotions is here to present to the punters what is real, who deseres to be heard, and genuine talent. We put on gigs for love of music not for love of money. We're here to share with you music.
