If youve got something to say about the way you feel about music then bloody say it! having an opinion is a good thing! even if you get your head bitten off by someone, a least it shows you really listen to the music and think and have an opinion and actually have a genuine interest in who a band really were or are! most people are just jumping on the bandwagoon man literally just going to get a shag! and are just saying things that they hear from someone else, because they think that person is cool, therefore they must be right when judging a band. THERE IS NO WRONG OR RIGHT! music is an art and a feeling and its all about how music makes YOU feel! if others cant handle the way you think then why are they arguing against you? At the end of the day its matter of opinion and it doesnt really matter what other people think or what you think to be honest. If it wasn't for difference in opinion, then there would not be difference in music.
i cant define my taste into just a few types of stlyes. Although i do get really excited when people take one style and match it with a completely random style and invent something totally new, i suppose thats one of the few nice about living in 2006, we can take from the old and mix in with the new and you get bands like, midlake, joy division, arcade fire e.t.c;

Teasing lulu,White Rose Movement, and if youre a local and you havent seen 'The Mutts' or 'The Dirty Social Disorder' then you havent seen the best of Brighton, (i know, i know some people would disagree) but can i just say; for once, two bands have fought their ways through the cliche, pointy shoed and shaggy haired indie gates of the music scene of brighton that only seem to allow through bands which all sound so much a like that if you played there songs, one after the other straight after, it would sound like one bloody song! the amount of times i have given those kind of bands (no names mentioned) the time of day and listened to thier demo or album and by the the time it had finished, had still thought track 1 was still playing! its rediculous! Thankfully though, they have attempted to save of what is left of rock 'n' roll and brought to people real music mutiny! thank god for rock 'n' roll!
Also i think Burt Bacharach knows what its all about, and that any sunday morning albums are a treasure.
