About Me

French DJ in exil - somewhere between Berlin, Paris, and Milan. Entertainer, party lover, night energizer, I am also a passionate artist and try to promote my love and taste for underground electronic music. In the early days...1994-1999, I was DJin' in Paris with the sexy Parisian mafia (Brique Rouge, F.Com, David Duriez, Alexkid, Llorca,...)- Those guys now run the PARIS nights...in 1999, I moved to BERLIN: the capital of electronic music where I was seduced by its incomparable underground venues and insolite locations, relaxed spirit and high energy. I had the chance and pleasure to play all over the berlin techno/house scene with friends and local heroes such as Phonique and Eric D Clark. I was resident DJ at some of the Berlin's 2000 cult venues such as the Feeling Private and Sommerresidenz. I played at and loved the Club Paris @ Pfefferbank, the Kings Club, the club103, the Tresor on Wednesdays and the Jazzanova Thursdays at the WMF. Lately, I enjoyed the nights of the Weekend, the Watergate or the Panorama Bar or the relaxed afters at Club der Visionaere. My music is sexy, well balanced, warm, eclectic, melodic and electronic. It can sound deep, sweet, acid, funky, jazzy, loungy, soulful... This is something between house and techno with a minimalicious touch. I have been heavily influenced by Jazzanova and Sonar Kollektiv artists. The last years in Berlin saw the eve of the minimal techno and the cult Berghain / bar25 afterhours. All these influences now make it just right to pleeeeze your ears. When not behind the decks or at a party, I am working for a big company behind a computer. I often need to get back to the source, the elements of nature. Moutains or Ocean. No preferency. I am an enthousiastic Kitesurfer & Snowkiter, trying to stick to the principles of "living on the edge and avoiding to fall".I Love traveling, and have been tripping around the globe with one objective, opening borders & cultures,... Meet you someday at an unexpected place. The world is small.I love communication and speak french, english, german, italian and have some basics of spanish and japanese. Communication is the key to peace and happiness. If you want to know how my sound is like, check this out.

My Interests

MUSIC... is just so important to me. I am interested in every new thing that turns me on. It's a matter of feeling. I like arts and beauty, I like truth and freedom. I like smiles and sex with sensuality. I love traveling, discovering new cultures and people. I like communication & languages. I love reading interesting books, watching movies that make me dream. I like sexy boys and girls with a brain and I LOVE my fiancée.

I'd like to meet:

Cool electronic artists, DJs and electro scene from Italy (my new place). Nice people who care for others, will to share and spread peace... Beautiful People with Beautiful Minds. Life entertainers, club and party promoters. People who stay awake, who stay aware, who keep learning and opening themselves. Anyone who can teach me new things. Clubbers from around the world that would like to meet up for some good sessions when I travel around,... and all my friends spread around the world, connected or not, they are linked to my life.

Music:

Every kind of music with soul in it, genuine, innovative and which makes my feet move. I mostly listen to electronic music, but I love everything that does not sound cheesy and has some vibes. Some of my all-time favorites are: [Electro]: Air, Autechre, Plaid, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin [House]: Masters at work, Kerry Chandler, Jazzanova and M. Alex Barck (for me one of the best DJ I have ever met), Ludovic Llorca, Blue Six and the Naked Music label, Chateau Flight and Versatile, Phonique and Dixon from Berlin and every good deephouse that has been produced in the last 15 years. Too much good stuff to enumerate... and the list is growing. [Techno]: Laurent Garnier, Spiral Tribe (reminds me of my first experiences in the french rave parties scene, Hardfloor, and the Berlin independent / minimal tek crew (BPitch, Kitty-Yo, Mobilee, Cadenza, Connaisseur, M-nus & Perlon...) [Pop Rock]: Jeff Buckley, Placebo, Coldplay, Nada Surf, PJ Harvey, Goldfrapp, Morcheebah, Massive Attack, Muse [Classical] Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninov [Jazz] Erik Truffaz, Chet Baker, Miles Davis [French] Serge Gainsbourg, Georges Brassens, Mickey 3D, M, Vincent Delerm, Cali, La Rue Ketanou, Thomas Fersen, Mathieu Boogaerts, Dominique A, Noir Desir, Katerine and any good new french singer or band breaking in.I disrespect commercial stuff produced to feed the mass with mainstream shit.

Movies:

I love movies, but certainly lack of time to go see them, except in the transatlantic flights on a mini-screen... I love the films of Kusturica and his crazy movies/musicians- Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation - Jim Jarmusch's broken flowers and Ghost Dog - and certainly I love all french comedies, e.g. Le Poulpe, le goût des autres, le bonheur est dans le pré, and every movie like Cedric Klapisch style : Le péril jeune, l'auberge espagnole, Un air de Famille, les poupées russes) - without forgetting Jean Pierre Jeunet's brilliant movies. too much good stuff to enumerate them all here.

Television:

I have No time for TV except when I am jet-lagged at the hotel. If I had time, I might watch music programs, extreme sports, quality porn, visual arts or travel reports. I hate reality shows, and trash TV, except if my friends are in there. I like movies without commercial breaks. I am addicted to Prison Break

Books:

I like comics but can also read text. I like books that tells about life and love. I loved to dream reading Thorgal. I like non-boring philosophy and psychology, and I like sci-fi. I have been reading interesting stuff from those guys: Maupassant - Pierre Boulle - Ray Bradbury - Abbe Pierre - Dalaii Lama - Stefan Zweig - Patrick Sueskind - Jean Giono.

Heroes:

I hate star system but I got influences. Peacemakers. Fighters for liberty and equality. Music kings. People who respect our planet and who think before they act. I kinda like Michael Scoffield and Desmond Hume.
