Music Notes Magazine started in December 2002 by a DJ/promoter named Ace Of Spades. Ace was tired of a lot of the bull shit in the world of Hip-Hop and decided to use journalism to not only voice his opinion but inform and educate Hip-Hoppers to the way things are, were and should be. MNM went from an 8-page newsletter to a 40-page mag in only a few months. To say Music Notes has a cult-like following would be putting it mildly. People read Music Notes from coast to coast here in America and 27 foreign countries and they look forward to new issues every single month. For over a year now, MNM has been throwing monthly contests where artists can win interviews in several magazines and radio shows, slots on mixtapes from a wide variety of DJ's, website packages, DVD exposure and much more. Due to the success of the showcases, Music Notes is in the works of doing the contest in cities across the country. MNM is also looking to run 80 pages in full color. Be on the lookout for the Music Notes mixtape, DVD, radio show and television show as well. Music Notes will become a household name. The brand is synonymous with real Hip-Hop and will not be denied.
