My Interests

My family, church, my dogs, my house, dirt bikes.

I'd like to meet:

People I know who I have lost contact with, and other interesting people.

Music:

Jimmy Buffett, They Might Be Giants, Depeche Mode, Bob Marley, George Strait, Death Cab For Cutie, Sade, Chicago, Meatloaf, Jefferson Starship, My Chemical Romance, The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Metallica, Marvin Gay, Coltrane, Iron Maiden. These and many more are all in top rotation on my (non-ipod) MP-3 player.

Movies:

Too many. I like a lot of the older movies. Harvey with Jimmy Stewart, anything with Cary Grant, 99.9% of John Wayne movies, stuff like that.Newer movies. I am a sucker for a good romantic comedy. I know the genre is tired, but I like having SOME predictability in life.I also like action/war movies.I know it isn't a movie, but Band of Brothers was a masterpiece.

Television:

Haven't watched a lot of tv in recent years. 24 is probably the best TV show ever made. Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, and Star Trek: TNG are great. Other than that it is about comedies that have made me laugh so hard I cried. The first is the WKRP episode where Les dropped live turkeys from a chopper. The next is Seinfeld where they have the bet to see who goes the longest without "it". The last is the South Park episode about LDS. Finally, I love Pam Anderson, so VIP and Stacked are very nice.

Books:

The Bible. The Lord of the Rings. The Chronicles of Narnia. Starship Troopers. Stuff by Jerry Pournelle about timeshifts. The Star Wars Universe books. The earlier Shannara books.

Heroes:

Round 2

Well, I will tell you that things have settled into a dull roar over here. Initially there was a huge uproar about people putting things into their blogs that they weren't supposed to. That meant that...
