I am interested in computers and music. I mainly deal with rap/hip-hop. I do some R&B. As far as computers, I used to watch the guy who fixed my dad's computer when I was young boy and that always interested me. Once I found out you could get music (my first love) for free off of the internet, that's when I really started getting into computers for my self. I ended up going to school for it. I worked for Best Buy's Geek Squad for a couple years while in school and for a year after I graduated. Now I'm in Delaware working as a Network Administrator for a company. It's proved to be a profitable interest of mine. Ya dig?!?!?!?!?!
My favorite rapper of all time, is Twista. My favorite CD of all time is Dr. Dre's the Chronic. I also like Jay-Z of course, Nas, The Roots, Bahamadia (she was gone for a while, but I heard a new song from her not too long ago and she hasn't lost it), Lil' Wayne, B.G.,Too $hort, The Game, Scarface.... The list goes on forever. I don't discriminate. If you are good, I'll listen to you. I have a co-worker who says she only listens to east coast Hip-Hop. She is missing out on a lot of good music. Even though I do like a lot of people, I still think that the game is getting watered down. It's rare that you find a CD now that is just official all the way through. A CD that does not come out of the deck. Seems that you can only get a few good songs off of a CD now. I guess I have to do one of two things: take what I get, or attempt to change the game myself. I rap a little, but It's more of a hobby. I don't have the dedication to make it in the game. I know it takes a lot of dedication and persistence. Everybody is a rapper now so in order to make it, you have to bring something unique to the game, and you have to PUSH that. You have to be able to accept rejection, and just keep on pushing till the door opens for you. I'm too impatient for that. I'm cool doing what I do. I don't need all of that. But don't get me wrong, if the oportuninty came along, I would take it, but I don't really push it like that.
I also own a lot of movies. I like comedy, thrillers, and horror. My favorite movie would have to be the first Friday. I know that movie like the back of my hand.
I don't really watch TV anymore. When Fresh Prince and Martin and shows like that were on TV, I made sure I was in front of the TV whenever those shows came on. I just don't feel strongly about any shows anymore. I keep my TV either on MTV Jams, one of the movie channels, or I'll just pop in a DVD.
I try to read all of James Patterson's Books. I read the entire Alex Cross series. Lately I have not had the time to read like I want to, so I am backed up. I also like Dan Brown boos. The DaVinci Code got me started, but I have now read all 4 of his books and I enjoyed all four of them. If I was him, I would put a new book out now that he has a buzz. The streets are waiting for a new Dan Brown book, lol.
My parents are my heroes. They brought me up right and acted as great role models. I wish to grow up to be as good as them.
