I'm usually not a person to pick favorites... but if I were stranded on an island and could only listen to the music of one band, I would pick ThirdDay. Generally, I like the alternative rock type music. I also love music with heavy guitar and vocal harmony.

Ok, I do have a favorite here, too. I'm almost obcessed with Sargae SG-1. I own seasons 1-6 on DVD and have plans to own the entire series (once I'm rich...). But, I don't have cable so I'm WAY behind on the story. My other TV followings include: Scrubs, Numbers, Criminal Minds, CSI (when I'm in the mood), NCIS, and occasionally Bones. I also hate to admit that I loved Beauty and the Geek. And I have developed a serious attachment to Dawson's Creek.
Anything by Jules Verne. I'm not much of a book person. I also like the Mother Earth, Father Sky trillogy by Sue Harrison.
