About Me

retro layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotComments Keeping it brief, I'm small and I like psychology, music, sleep, the Pookie Snails, making up songs, singing said songs, listening to other people's songs (you get the picture), playing lots and lots of (particularly trad) music and lots and lots of instruments, artistry that other people create (I can't draw beyond stickmen and the funny little cats that I do), my flat cream 'Hotter' shoes- I'm nearly breaking my heart trying to find somewhere in Ireland that stocks them, purple accessories, not having frizzy curls, Antics, buying inappropriate birthday presents, writing, wearing my huge granny cardigan at home, chilling at the lake near the homestead, my little flask that I often bring around for tea purposes, my friends + randomness at gigs and shindigs, Spike Milligan (and other somewhat deeper poets also!), good reads in general, Napoleon Dynamite. In fact, I love all those things. I lied about the brief bit.

My Interests

The music that I am friends with here!

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet the current reader. And all their friends. Bring your music, a smile and an open mind.

Music:

Yes, music

Movies:

Movies also. Napoleon Dynamite, V for Vendetta, See no evil Hear no evil, Drop Dead Fred, Back to the Future trilogy, The Producers (Nathan Lane *chuckles*), Heathers, Sin City, Anchorman, Sweeney Todd, Richard Pryor on film! (it counts), NOT horriffic Japanese violence, I'm just picking absentmindedly here, that is some stuff.

Television:

Umm? Scrubs, The Young Ones, Q5, Monty Python, The Mighty Boosh, I'm Alan Partridge, Phoenix Nights, Shooting Stars, Friends, QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Animaniacs, Blackadder, Porridge, The Friday Night Project. SATC *reddens*

Books:

I'm on a huge Stephen King kick at the mo' (have been there for quite a while, truth to be told), although there's the same predictable rough realism about all his characters. I guess if it ain't broke............... So presently- Christine, Misery, The Tommyknockers; also enjoy the Harry Potter series, The Liar, Red Dragon (the psychologist within is fascinated) at the mo am reading a book on cosmology. Will read (and read and read) most anything- 2nd-hand shops are dangerously enticing for me... A favourite book from my youth- James Marshall's Taking Care of Carruthers. It really scared me. That and The Amazing Adventures of Willie Scrimshaw. Wow.

Heroes:

Rik Mayall, Helena Bonham Carter, Dylan Moran, Peter Kay, Stephen Fry, Jerry Cantrell, Michael Stipe, B. F. Skinner, Joanna Lumley, Bill Bailey, James Hetfield, Steve Coogan,
