Dj Mleccha

Dj Mleccha is one of the philosophers behind Bwana Club, an international network of researchers, artists and DJs who are active in cross-disciplinary projects.Utilising a variety of mediums--exhibitions, lectures and events--Bwana Club strives to illuminate the state of democracy in our postcolonial and globalised world. Special focus is placed on the colonial boomerang--the ways that certain colonial structures are repeated in the manufacture of contemporary culture.The projects includes Clandestino Festival, ABC Racism and Club Clandestino. At the moment the group is involved in establishing an "underground university", the Clandestino Institute, in G..teborg, Sweden.DJ Mleccha is the concentration of all these projects in the form of mad sounds for the dance floor.
